First of all, it is with the hard work, and hours of research time of Bro. Darren Russell, of Maricopa, Arizona, and the efforts of the late, Bro. Milton “Bunk” Sloate, that we have the information available to do this work. My thanks to them, and others that helped them in their efforts. All together, we hope to do our best. Looking for your roots, be it blood, historical or in this case, Church linage, you always come across some very interesting things, and that is what you are going to find available here on this site. It is not my intention to lead you astray, convert you to a certain way of thinking, or make you feel uncomfortable in your way of thinking. But truth is a unique thing, in that it gives light to what can for many years be thought facts, when in the end you come to find out that what you thought to be so, is not so. This is no reason to be upset, or angry about what you find, but to just make the map of your thinking much larger, and easier to understand. It can of course, cause you to see a light into some things that were dark, and it can also show you where you need to change your course a few degrees, without altering the ending destination at all. Some will disagree, just to disagree, and find nothing at all to enlighten themselves, just because they are unwilling to reason with facts, not only in their mindset of the past, or the future. I, on the other hand, am always looking for the bigger picture, not at all intending to change the final message. In some instances, it has been said; You can’t get there from here, and often times said in jest, but I do believe that in some cases, you can get to a point on the map, where you simply must back up, or turn around and go back to 1. a better place of reference. I was also taught many years ago when I was learning to fly, that if you are off course only 5°, in 500 miles you have no idea where you are, even though you are looking at a perfectly good map. All the checkpoints have disappeared, and nothing looks familiar. I will hope that the information available for you here, will help some to find themselves, and others to chart a better course. I for one, hope to find the proper avenue to the final destination, and know for sure that I have taken the route, which allows the most people to travel, and not leave anyone behind. That is of course, because I am a minister, and the minister who leads, should know whereof he speaks, and give a clear picture of the course, and the ending result. May you look and read with interest, but not with a critical eye, for you will find words that might be better said in a different way, but still not give a better picture that is trying to be painted. May you also judge with a friend’s judgment, for friends are always willing to agree to disagree.
